What is an escape room?
An escape room is a physical game featuring challenges and puzzles to solve within a time limit. You must work as a team to escape the themed escape rooms which are made to be realistic with selected props of which are designed and made by ourselves.
Who can play?
Friends, Families, Work colleagues. Basically anyone can play. Just get a team together, book up and come along.
Will I enjoy it?
We think so. It is a unique experience that you and your team will not forget quickly. A great group activity.
Which room should I play?
We have 2 rooms. Abandoned Ship has a pirate theme. It has some physical challenges as well as lots of mental ones. Witch’s Lair has a witch theme and is almost entirely mental based puzzles. It included 1 or 2 scare elements albeit very mild ones.
What ages can play?
As some of the puzzles are difficult we recommend a minimum age of 13. If players are 16 or under we require at least 1 adult to accompany them.
Where can I read reviews?
We are on TripAdvisor and you can also join our Facebook page @Findthewayout1515 to read our reviews there.
How many players can play?
2-5 players. Due to the size of the rooms we allow a maximum of 5 players in any 1 room.
How much does it cost?
Our prices start at £13 per person. For a full price list please visit our booking system.
How long does it last?
You will spend around 60 minutes inside the room, however you will have a short briefing beforehand and after your escape we would like for you to share your experience with us.
What should I wear?
We recommend you wear whatever you are comfortable in. You will be on your feet throughout the experience so comfy shoes are advised. High heels and roller skates are forbidden.
How do I book?
Please visit our booking system, it will show when we have availability for you. Or alternatively contact us directly.
What are your opening hours?
We are open 6 days a week. Closed on Mondays. Open all other days and our games run from 10am until 8pm.
Can I play if I’m claustrophobic?
Our Escape rooms are fair sized but personal experience may vary depending on the degree of claustrophobia. The game rooms can be left at any time during the game. A staff member will immediately come and let you out.
Can I play if I’m pregnant?
The Witch’s lair has an atmosphere that can be a scary experience for some people. There is no real danger but you may feel tense from it.
The Abandoned Ship has 1 or 2 physical challenges in it but not every player needs to do every challenge.
What time should I arrive?
You should arrive as close to your booked game time as you can. If you are running late, please give us a call to let us know. If you’re too late, we can refuse you as we may have other players affected by this.
